A message from Neil Meltzer
World Health Day

Dear LifeBridge Health family,

Today, April 7, is World Health Day. In previous years, we might not even stop to recognize this commemoration. However, given the current Coronavirus pandemic, this year’s World Health Day could not come at a more profound time. The Coronavirus has shown us how we are all connected, and it has changed almost every aspect of our lives.

These changes may feel particularly poignant this week with the Passover and Easter holidays, a time when families and faith communities traditionally gather in celebration.

In this time of social distancing, however, synagogues, congregations and extended families may be connecting online or in other creative ways, knowing that keeping our distance is the best way to keep each other safe and show our love.

Some of our frontline team members may not even see their immediate families for these holidays, as they have chosen to stay elsewhere to eliminate even the tiniest risk that they could expose their family members to this virus. Please know that we recognize your service and your sacrifice.

I am extremely grateful and proud of each and every one of you, and how our organization has come together to respond to this unprecedented health crisis.

You are truly showing what it means to CARE BRAVELY.

Spring is a time of renewal and hope, and our holiday traditions are about connection and community. While we may not be coming together as we usually do, this year we share a spirit of hope and a collective understanding that what we are doing at LifeBridge Health is making a difference for individuals, families and our communities.

You have taken on this challenge with strength, intelligence and bravery, and just as importantly, with empathy and compassion.

As always, I would like to offer my personal thanks for all you do.

Best regards,

Neil M. Meltzer
